Japanese motorcycles can be shockingly durable. We've worked on a lot of bikes pulled out of barns, garages, and sheds over the years (complete with faded 1979 registration stickers) and had the engine running within a few hours of work, even while the original tires are so rotted that they won't hold air and the tank is so rusty that only the paint is holding it together. So, there is hope!
If you've found a bike in such a state, bring it to us and we can bring it back to life for you. And, perhaps equally useful, we can tell you if your vintage find is too far gone to be worth restoring. We can do the basic engine tests that should be performed before you begin a restoration, let you know what parts are beyond saving and source replacement parts for you, and do all the work needed to get your barn find back on the road.
Finally, if you are looking for a new ride, we might have the bike you're looking for. Check our blog for our most recent finds, or get in touch. Thanks!
